La Petite Robe Noire from Guerlain is a feminine Oriental Vanilla composition crafted by Thierry Wasser and released in 2012. It opens on bright sour cherry, almond, red berries and bergamot that lend an immediate fruity-sweet lift. In the heart, licorice, rose and tea with Taif rose create a floral-spicy middle that deepens the character. The base layers of vanilla, anise, tonka bean, patchouli and iris give a warm, slightly gourmand foundation to the scent.
